It depends on who provides the electronic access. If the book is available from EbscoHost or eBrary, you're allowed to print only a certain number of pages per session rather than the entire book. For books provided through Springer, you can print the entirety of the book, or individual chapters, whichever you need. Books in the public domain (published before 1923) can be printed in full, regardless of who provides access.
