If a Buswell library book shows up in the catalog as "available," but it is not in its place on the shelf, inquire at Circulation Desk. It may be there waiting to be reshelved. If a book doesn't turn up in a search, library staff can change the status of the book to "missing" in the catalog, which will allow one to request the book from another library.
