In some databases you need to export and then import records into Zotero.
- Look at the database options and select "export." Select the Zotero, RIS file, or BibTex file type.
- A file will be "exported" to your computer desktop.
- In Zotero, go to the "gear" icon on the menu bar.
- When you select "import" you will be given a screen to browse for the "exported" file.
Zotero creates a new folder for the imported records. Just drag the citations to other folders.
