Important thing to note about interlibrary loan requests:
- I-Share is the fastest way to request books for class. Items typically arrive in 3-5 business days.
- Requests through Interlibrary Loan (Libraries Worldwide) arrive 5-10 business days on average.
- Using the maximum renewals, you will be able to borrow an I-Share or Wheaton book for most of the semester. I-Share allows for a 28 day loan period with 3 renewals and Interlibrary Loan is usually 3-4 week loan period with 1 renewal.
- Consider ordering an older edition. They are more likely to be available.
Note to Faculty:
We cannot request textbooks or other physical items to be put on course reserve through interlibrary loan because loan periods given are not long enough for semester use.
